Transfer News: Real Madrid Player wants Chelsea move

Alvaro Morata Keen to Switch From Real Madrid to Chelsea Next Season

Morata reportedly told Zinedine Zidane he wants to leave Madrid to join Chelsea. The Spainsh international struggled to get game time under the Madrid boss this campaign.

He played at Madrid B and promoted to Real Madrid main squad under Jose Mourinho before moving to Juventus for €20 million. He scored 15 goals for Juventus in all competitions.

His performance in Juventus impressed Zinedine Zidane as Madrid exercised their buy-back clause to bring back Morata from Juventus for €30 million.

He was mainly used as a back up striker and fell behind Karim Benzema.

Morata frustrated with less playing time looking to move away from the Spanish side and eager to team up Antonio Conte.

Morata in a recent interview said :
Conte is the manager who most 'bet' on me, without even ever having had me in his team. I am very conscious of that: he bet on me for Juventus, but left before I arrived; then he wanted me at Chelsea come what may.
He knows me better than I could imagine, I am sure, and that is important: it motivates you to work hard, train well.
I feel indebted to him because he is the coach that most trusted in me, most wanted me, who made me feel I could perform at the highest level. And yet I have never had the fortune to actually work with him. I am sure sooner or later I will.
Chelsea too wants to replace the ongoing striker Diego Costa  who is potentially moving to China in a record £620,000 a week.

Morata has just started 14 La Liga games for Real Madrid

Despite making minimal appearances , Morata netted 20 goals in all competition.
